Small batch, plant-based chocolate that wins awards. The job was making sure people actually found it.

The job.

For a year I ran Luisa's marketing end to end: the website, weekly paid campaigns, a weekly newsletter, and all the photography, reels and social content that fed them.

The approach.

Let the product and the people do the selling. Styled shots that make the flavours obvious at a glance, behind the scenes from bean to bar, and a face behind the counter. Then put the best of it in front of the right people every week.

A year of marketing

Every week,every channel.

One person running the whole engine, so the photos, the ads, the emails and the shop all said the same thing.

01

Website

Managed the online shop: product pages, new flavours, seasonal gift boxes and the copy that sells them.

02

Paid campaigns

Weekly paid social campaigns built around the product shots, tested and tuned to drive orders.

03

Weekly newsletter

Written and designed every week: new flavours, offers, gifting moments and the story behind the beans.

04

Product photography

Styled shoots for every pouch and box, from jungle sets to marble flat lays.

05

Reels

Short-form video from the workshop and the shop, cut for the first three seconds.

06

Social media

Planning, posting and community management, with the content made in house.

Spotnumber 53.

When Luisa's was recommended in a book of Nottingham's best local spots, I shot this outside the shop for an article on the mention: the founder, the book open at her page, and the shop window behind her.

Press like this goes everywhere at once: a blog article for search, a newsletter for the regulars, and posts and reels for social.
