Keep the cover, swap the pages. An eco friendly, refillable notebook that saves money needed a launch that looked as good as the idea.

the brief

Dizzy Ink were launching Book for Life, a refillable notebook you buy once and refill for years. Less waste, lower cost over time, and a cover that becomes yours. The launch needed imagery that made a sustainable product feel exciting rather than worthy.

the idea

Lead with colour. Every Book for Life has a coloured refill strip on the spine, so the range itself became the hero: bold seamless backdrops, clashing colour pairings and big human reactions that stop the scroll.

the shoot

A studio day split into four set-ups: a graphic flat lay of every colourway, a hero cover shot for the launch lettering, portrait and reaction shots with real people, and a playful stack shot to show the range. Everything framed for square, portrait and story crops so one shoot could feed the whole launch.

Workshop film / Dizzy Ink x Joules

theworkshop.

Dizzy Ink hosted a hands-on risograph workshop for the Joules team in the UK. I filmed the day: the print room, the team designing and making their own, and the finished pieces on the wall.
