DeliveredA one minute workshop film

A design team out from behind the screen, and onto a press.

Dizzy Ink hosted the Joules team at their studio for a day of making. People drew their own motifs, saw them go through the risograph in fluoro ink, and pinned the results up to dry.

I filmed the whole day and cut it into one short film: the arrival, the ideas going down, the drum spinning, and the moment the first prints came off the machine.

How the day ran

Four layers,one print.

Like a riso print, the day built up one colour at a time.

01 / Yellow

Arrive

The team arrives at the studio and gets a feel for the press and the inks.

02 / Blue

Draw

Ideas down on paper and tablets: birds, plants, patterns and type.

03 / Pink

Print

Designs go through the risograph, a fresh pull at a time.

04 / Green

Pin up

Prints go up on the grid wall to dry, and everyone takes theirs home.
